- Include bay windows, alcoves and halfway under the door.

How this works
We try your room against each roll width, both ways round, and keep whichever wastes least. If the room is wider than the roll, we tell you a join is needed rather than hiding it.
Why is the carpet bigger than my room?
Because carpet is cut off a roll of a fixed width. A 3m wide room cut from a 4m roll still costs you 4m across.
What if my room is an odd shape?
Use the biggest rectangle that covers it. We measure properly, free, before anything is ordered.
Do I need to add extra for waste?
No. The figure already includes a trim allowance on each cut.
